I unfriended a person on my friend list

This may sound childish; maybe it is. But I did the unfriending just now. I feel like it is necessary and wise. Especially if I attempted to have a connection with the guy, he never responded. Although he flirted with me a little while ago I could never see his profile (the profile is always not available; maybe he blocked me? but how could he block me and still on my friend's list and view my profile sometimes). Very confusing but it is time for me to end this.
